CHICAGO — A new indoor climbing gym is set to open this fall across from Wrigley Field.

Wrigleyville Movement plans to open in September at 1115 W. Addison St.

The new facility will be 43,000 square feet in size and will include 12,000 square feet of climbing walls, which will be designed for all skill levels.

It will be on three floors and will also include a weight room, a cardio room and a space for yoga.

Lessons will be offered for adults and young people interested in rock climbing.

“Adding to Chicago’s rich and diverse climbing community is one of the primary goals of our new facility,” said Jen Torrent, district manager at Movement. “As adventure enthusiasts ourselves, we want to meet and welcome others into our space and provide them with support, training, and a bunch of fun bouldering problems to master.”
