Risen Rock Climbing Gym is hosting the USA Climbing Regional Qualifying Competition this weekend

The Risen Rock Climbing Gym in Bossier City, Louisiana is proud to host the USA Climbing Region 51 Youth Qualifying Competition on Saturday, March 26 from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Region 51 includes climbers from Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

“I’m excited to show our community what competitive climbing looks like,” said Kelly Phillips, Executive Director of Operations. “We currently have 70 registered competitors coming and only two are local!”

USAC’s youth event is for climbers 19 and under to challenge themselves in a variety of disciplines. The whole gymnasium will be dedicated to this exciting climbing competition until 5:00 p.m. During the day, no recreational climbing will be permitted, however, supporters are welcome to witness this incredible event and cheer on the competitors. He is free to attend as a spectator.

The winners of this weekend’s event at Risen Rock Climbing Gym will compete in the Regional Championships in Cypress, Texas.
