First, she mastered her Force abilities. Then she learned to swim along the English Channel. On Wednesday, the “Chaos Walking” actress revealed she’s decided to try her hand at rock climbing.

Ridley clearly flexes her arm muscles as she moves from one colored threshold to the next. Her short pixie cut appears to be a bit longer than fans last saw as she struggles to find her footing on the wall.

“It was SO MUCH HARDER than it looks!” she wrote in the caption. “Hellllllo beginner climber! I did neither, but I kept trying! 🦥🦥🦥.”

“Reminds me of Rey scaling the walls trying to escape the First Order ship in TFA,” one fan commented on her video.

“I could never😧😮 Strong Queen,” another fan wrote.

“OK Google. Play ‘The Scavenger’ from The Force Awakens soundtrack. 🎶,” another fan joked.

“Climbing the wreckage of the Death Star,” another fan joked. “LEGO Star Wars Scavenger type beat,” replied another.

“This woman needs to come to the MCU,” said another fan. Although it has long been rumored that Ridley is “in talks” to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, nothing has been confirmed. What has been confirmed is Ridley’s starring role in “Young Woman and the Sea,” which recently wrapped filming.

“Young Woman and the Sea” wrapped filming in June

Ridley first rose to fame playing Jakku Rey’s orphan in the Star Wars sequel trilogy beginning with “The Force Awakens” in 2015. She reprized her role for the two follow-up films – “The 2017’s Last Jedi’ and 2019’s ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ – which concluded the nine-part Skywalker saga that began with 1977’s ‘A New Hope’.

Since then, she’s taken on a series of new roles, including “Murder on the Orient Express” and “Chaos Walking” opposite Spider-Man Tom Holland. However, it looks like she’s not done with Disney just yet, as she’s starring in ‘Young Woman and the Sea,’ which wrapped filming in June.

” And it’s done ! » Ridley subtitle a series of snaps documenting his last date on set. “Last day of filming for The Young Woman and the Sea. It was tough, but it was worth it, and I think we made a film to be proud of. So grateful for #TeamTrudy ♥️”

The film “Young Woman and the Sea” tells the story of Gertrude “Trudy” Ederle and is based on the novel of the same name by Glenn Stout.

In 1926, Gertrude became the first woman to swim across the English Channel. Ederle was the daughter of a German Manhattan butcher who became a competitive swimmer who won the gold medal at the 1924 Olympics. Ederle first swam 22 miles from Battery Park, New York to Sandy Hook, New Jersey, and set a record of 81 years before finally attempting to cross the English Channel.

Four days before the crew wrapped filming, she posted a behind-the-scenes video of herself getting ready for a scene and warming up before taking the plunge.

“BTS from Young Woman and the Sea. I’d like to think this is how Trudy warmed up before every swim,” she captioned the video, adding, “THE moral support John Scotti and coach of swimming extraordinaire (and occasional Olympian) @siobhanmoconnor95”

The screenplay was adapted by Jeff Nathanson. Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman are signed as producers. The film also stars the ninth reincarnation of the Doctor in “Doctor Who” Chris Eccleston, as well as Tilda Cobham-Hervey and Stephen Graham. The film was directed by Joachim Rønning.

Fans can’t wait to see Daisy Ridley in another role!
